Dear Students,
It has been truly a challenging year for everyone. From taking online classes, to meeting up virtually for projects, to being unable to step into the campus freely... these restrictions have definitely impacted your lives and experience as a SoA student.
Yet, I am heartened that you have all taken it in your stride, adapted quickly to the situation and tapped on available resources to create your own unique campus experience. If anything, I believe these challenges have helped you to emerge stronger, more versatile and better prepared for any uncertainties that life might throw in your way. This virtual ASoc Night is a perfect example of how you have improvised well and found a creative solution to still celebrate as a school. For the School of Accountancy is not limited to any building or place, but it is a community consisting of its students, faculty, alumni and staff. Wherever you maybe today or in the future, you are and still will be a part of SoA.
Happy 19th Birthday School of Accountancy and I look forward to celebrating many more with all of you!

Our heartiest congratulations to all faculty members, staff and students from the SMU School of Accountancy on your 19th anniversary.
As the national accountancy body, ISCA is pleased to have been a close partner of the faculty over the years, in building a strong talent pipeline for the profession that is future fit for the dynamic business environment. Through the ISCA Youth Associate student membership programme, accountancy students are better prepared for their career while they are in school. The student membership programme complements the University’s academic programme as it provides opportunities for students to hone their technical skills in areas such as data analytics, financial forensics as well as soft skills. Upon graduation, ISCA will continue to support accountancy and finance professionals with specialisation pathways, certification programmes and courses in high-growth and in-demand areas.
We look forward to our continual partnership with the SMU School of Accountancy, and welcoming all students and graduates to be part of ISCA’s accountancy community of over 32,000 members making their stride in businesses across industries in Singapore and around the world.
