Our logo places great emphasis on the number "1". which embodies great significance to ASoc. Spearheaded by our second batch of students, we started off as a student-initiated interim committee led by Rigan Wong in 2003. The first official executive committee was elected in August 2004.

In 2019, the logo was revamped by the 15th Management Committee, who included the words 'SMU Accounting Society' for the ASoc Family to identify with us, as well as to increase our outreach to stakeholders beyond the school environment. With a legacy given to us by our seniors, ASoc aims to come in first in all our endeavours.
